Life at a new school

Joining LPBS sixth form has completely changed my view of receiving an education. As an external student, I was expecting to get on with my A-Levels, and that was that. But being here for only 4 weeks, I have already been offered so many great opportunities such as trips overseas, voluntary work, extra-curricular activities and so much more. When I first arrived at Langley Park School for Boys, I was expecting to feel highly intimated. However, every teacher, every student and every member of staff I have encountered over the past few weeks have been extremely welcoming. I admire the work of the school for making me and a lot of other external students feel at ease in their work space. I feel inspired by all of my teachers to do well in my current educational career, as well as my future. Being a Film student, I think the facilities provided such as the Performance Hall, editing suite and equipment have made my experience 10 times better because I know I am in an environment that is catered towards my interests. School is now a place I look forward to going, it is somewhere where I am motivated to work to my full potential, somewhere where I can socialise with lots of different people, somewhere where I feel comfortable.
